The Games Room is now officially OPEN! We have transformed the garage into such a fun space.....

...welcome to 'Garaje Alto' - named after a disco we went to nearby growing up called 'Castillo Alto'.

Complete with pool table, darts board, disco lights and a fringed umbrella you will have hours of family fun!

Partying in "Garaje Alto'.

Should you wish to have a quieter moment we thoroughly recommend finding the old swing seat in the garden.

....night!

Or find a comfy chair on the other side of the garden by the small lemon tree and watch the sun rise over the mountains.

Seating under the olive tree in the garden with the house and main terrace behind.

New to Torna in 2025 is another beautiful place to sit in the garden. Walk along the woodchipped path to 'Pagoda de los Pájaros'. (Pájaro is bird in Spanish.)

Nestled at the bottom of the garden, it is a heavenly place to be still, listen to the birds and forest bathe.

There are views across the mountains and it is in the perfect spot to watch the sunrise.

There are 4 comfy recliners around a table under the Pagoda...perfect for a quiet morning breakfast or an evening drink away from the noise of the pool.

You may want to spend time at Torna out of season - Christmas is lovely around the woodburning stove.

The winter sunlight on the hills seen from the main terrace is spectacular....

....as is the light on the mountains and coast which turn pink in the fading winter light.

Enjoy the Winter sunshine out of season at the Burriana beach.

There is so much to do nearby at all times of the year...if you enjoy a walk / hike you can either stroll out from the house in to the surrounding hills or there are some fabulous walks from the nearby village of Frigiliana just a short car ride away.

For the adventurer you could walk the Caminito Del Rey a 3km walkway pinned along the narrow El Chorro gorge set behind Malaga.

Visit the 'Balcon de Europa' in the nearby busy coastal town of Nerja. There are many fun restaurants and bars to choose from and a busy market on a Tuesday morning.

Walk down the 'Balcon de Europa' in Nerja with beautiful sea views.

Nerja is famous for its amazing caves which are well worth a visit.
Have lunch on the Burriana beach. Ayo and his team cooks delicious paella over a wood fire.

Visit the beautiful, award winning village of Frigiliana just up the road or 40 minutes on foot. There are lots of lovely restaurants and bars and a small but fab market on a Thursday morning.

Explore the cobbled streets of Frigiliana in the Moorish quarter.
Marina Del Este along the coast near La Herradura is a great place to charter a boat.
The Marina is positioned in a beautiful cove sheltered by its own rugged breakwater.
We recommend doing a private charter to explore the coast.

Anchor up at Canuelo beach and paddle board or snorkel from your boat! The cava flows on a charter!

After your charter you can explore the Marina and have a cocktail at one of the many bars and restaurants.

For tennis courts and Padel we recommend 'La Raqueta' in nearby Nerja.

For golf lovers the nearest 18 hole course is at Baviera Golf in Caleta de Mar about a 20 min drive along the coast.
We recommend Andale Riding Centre for group Horseriding through beautiful countryside down to the beach.

For the oenophiles there are the nearby 'Calvente' and 'Bentomiz' bodegas for tours and wine tasting.

Should you need a private chef we recommend the services of Sharon at Munro Catering...she will come with her team and do a paella night or something more bespoke.
Sharon sets up on the terrace, lays the table and clears up....too good!
Paella on the main terrace!

For car hire we highly recommend using this lovely family firm in Nerja - no need to wait in queues at Malaga airport as they will just give you the code to a lockbox in the boot of your car parked for you at the airport and no hidden charges.
